Premium Room Makeover
from £639.00

A room designed to the point where someone can build it.

Everything in the Basic makeover, developed further: the plan comes in colour, and every wall that carries a finish or a fitting is drawn as an elevation. That is the point at which a design stops being a suggestion and becomes something a decorator, a tiler or a contractor can price and work from.

What you receive

  • Mood board setting the visual direction for the room

  • 2D colour floor plan with furniture distribution

  • Elevations of the walls carrying finishes, fittings or joinery

  • Interactive shopping list, every product shown with a photograph, a price and a link, with your running total updating as you choose

  • Three bonus design hours for decorative layers, a feature wall or a second opinion

  • Two online calls, one to kick off and one to present the finished scheme

Timing. Around three weeks per room, from the kick-off call.

Select your room type and payment option below. Full detail on what the elevations resolve, and where Premium stops, is further down the page.

  • 2D colour floor plan with furniture distribution

  • Elevations of the walls carrying finishes, fittings or joinery

  • Lighting distribution plan covering fixture positions, circuits and switching

Compare the packages01

How much do you need to see?

Every package is a complete design for one room, priced by room type. Designs are delivered online as standard, or in conjunction with a site visit if you'd rather we saw the space in person. What separates the three is how much of the finished room you can see before anything is bought or booked. Basic shows you where everything goes. Premium shows you what the walls will look like. Deluxe shows you the whole scheme, finishes and lighting positions included.

Your shopping list02

A budget that updates as you choose

Every package includes an interactive shopping list, not a static document. Each item appears with a photo of the actual product, its price and a clickable link, grouped by category and by room. As you tick the pieces you want, your total moves with you, so you can see exactly where the budget sits before you commit to anything. Swap a sofa for a cheaper one and watch the number drop. Nothing is hidden until checkout, and nothing obliges you to buy through us.

Open book sourcing03

We're not paid to recommend anything

Your designer specifies what suits your room, your budget and your taste. Nothing else. We do hold trade accounts with a number of suppliers, and wherever those carry a discount we pass it on to you in full. But no supplier relationship decides what lands on your shopping list. If the right chair for your room comes from a high street shop we have no arrangement with, that's the chair you'll get. If the right answer is something second hand, or something you already own, we'll say so. You're paying us for our judgement, not for a route into a particular catalogue.

Always included04

What every package considers

  • Loose furniture, selected to your style, budget and room dimensions
  • Pluggable lighting, including table and floor lamps
  • Window treatments, from curtains to blinds and shutters
  • Floor and wall treatments, including paint, paper and tiling
  • Access to our trade discounts, passed on through our sourcing service

Site visits are not built into the package prices, but can be booked alongside any package depending on your location. If you'd rather we measured and assessed the room in person, tell us on the discovery call and we'll quote it upfront.

Worth knowing05

Paint is the last decision, not the first

Most people start with a paint colour, because it's cheap and it feels like progress. It's the wrong end of the room. Paint comes in thousands of shades and can be mixed to match anything you like. A sofa comes in maybe six fabrics, a tile in one finish, a worktop in whatever the supplier holds. Choose the pieces with the fewest options first and let the paint follow them. Rooms that end up repainted twice almost always got that order the wrong way round, and it's one of the more expensive mistakes to unpick.

How it works06

Three weeks, and often sooner

01Free discovery callA short conversation to understand your project and work out which package fits. No cost, and no obligation to book anything afterwards.
02Kick-off callOnce booked, your designer talks through your space, how you use it, and the style you're drawn to.
03Design creationYour designer develops the mood board, plans and shopping list for your room.
04Handover callYour designer presents the finished design and explains how to bring it to life.

Each room is booked with a three week design window, and where clients come back to us quickly, rooms regularly finish well inside it. We've turned rooms around in a fortnight when the feedback has been same-day. That's the trade: the window runs both ways. We commit to delivering inside it, and we ask you to keep pace with your designer, because a design can't move forward while it waits on a decision. It's what stops projects drifting, and it's why we're able to move quickly for the clients who want to.

Not sure which package fits? Book a free discovery call and we'll tell you honestly, including if a smaller service would serve you better.

The window opens at your kick-off call, once your brief, measurements and photos are complete, and is based on a Premium package for a single room of around 20 sqm. Larger rooms, open plan spaces, multi-room projects and anything involving structural change need longer, and your designer will agree a realistic window with you before starting. Time spent waiting on decisions counts within the window rather than extending it. If a project goes quiet and runs past the window, we'll be in touch to agree how to pick it back up.

After your design07

You don't have to do the rest alone

Your package ends with a finished design and everything you need to execute it yourself, and plenty of clients do exactly that. If you'd rather have us stay involved, three services pick up where the design leaves off. Each is quoted separately, and none of them is assumed.

Common questions08

What people usually ask before booking

How long does a room design take?

Each room is booked with a three week design window, opening at your kick-off call once your brief, measurements and photos are complete. Where clients come back to us quickly, rooms regularly finish well inside that. The guide is based on a Premium package for a single room of around 20 sqm; larger rooms, open plan spaces, multi-room projects and anything structural need longer, and your designer will agree a realistic window with you before starting. The window runs both ways: we commit to delivering inside it, and we ask you to keep pace with your designer, since time spent waiting on decisions counts within the window rather than extending it. If you have a deadline, say so on the discovery call and we'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable.

How soon can you start?

In most cases within a week of booking, sometimes sooner. Because that falls inside the 14 day cancellation period that applies to services bought online, our terms ask you to confirm you're happy for us to begin straight away, which means giving up that right once your designer has started work. If you would rather keep the full cancellation period, just say so and we'll schedule your kick-off call after it closes.

Can I cancel after booking?

Yes. If your designer hasn't started work, you can cancel for a full refund, including on the same day you booked. Once work has begun, under the terms you agree at checkout, we charge for the design time already spent rather than refunding in full. Nothing starts without your kick-off call, so there's always a clear point before which you can change your mind.

What if I need to move my kick-off call?

Just tell us, ideally with at least 48 hours' notice, and we'll find the next suitable slot. The only real consequence is to your own timeline: your design window opens at the kick-off call, so moving it moves everything after it, and designers are usually booked a little way ahead. If you don't turn up and we haven't heard from you, we'll get in touch to rebook rather than treat the session as used, but the same knock-on to your dates applies.

Which package do I need?

It comes down to how much of the room you want to see before you commit. Basic gives you a black and white plan, so you can see where everything goes. Premium adds colour plans and elevations, so you can see what each wall will actually look like, including tile and finish layouts. Deluxe adds renovation-ready plans, lighting positions and extended design time, for projects where walls are moving. If you're unsure, the free discovery call will settle it in a few minutes.

What exactly counts as a revision?

Each room includes one revision, and it's worth being precise about what that means because it's the thing most often misunderstood. A revision is one round of feedback on the design we've presented, sent to us together in one go. Inside that round you can ask for as many individual changes as you like: swap the sofa, try a different rug, adjust where the bed sits, change a paint colour. Your designer works through the lot and reissues the design.

What isn't covered by a revision?

Changing direction after you've approved one. If the brief was warm neutrals and you decide at presentation stage that you want deep greens throughout, that isn't a revision, it's a second design, because every other decision in the room has to be reconsidered around it. The same applies to changing the room's function or layout after the plan is signed off. We'll always tell you upfront if what you're asking for crosses that line, and quote the extra design time before doing any of it. Feedback sent in scattered messages over several days also counts as your one round, so it's worth gathering your thoughts and sending them together.

Is the lighting in Deluxe the same as your lighting distribution service?

No. Deluxe marks where the light fittings go on your technical drawing, which is enough for most room projects. Our separate lighting distribution service goes considerably further: circuits, switching and load calculations, prepared so your electrician can install directly from it. If you're rewiring or at first fix, that's the one you want.

Do you position the electrical sockets too?

Not as standard, and it's worth saying clearly because people reasonably assume it follows from the lighting. Socket and switch positions are a separate exercise from lighting distribution, and it's rare enough to be asked for that we've kept it out of the packages rather than charge everyone for it. If you do want it, say so at the kick-off call and we'll add it on. It's straightforward to include once we know, and considerably more awkward to retrofit after the plans are drawn.

Do you design the kitchen itself?

Not the cabinetry, and this one is worth understanding before you book. Kitchen design is brand specific: units, carcasses, mechanisms and door ranges all vary by manufacturer, and the company supplying your kitchen will design to their own system. What we do is allocate the kitchen within your plan, its position, its footprint and its shape, so the rest of the room is designed around a layout that genuinely works. You then take that to a kitchen company, who design the units within it.

Can you help me choose the kitchen?

Yes, as an add-on. We work with a number of kitchen companies, and we can add design hours to your package to help you choose the range, the door style and the finishes, and to make sure what you pick sits properly with the rest of the scheme. It's quoted by the hour depending on how much help you want. Tell us at the discovery call if a kitchen is part of your project and we'll factor it in from the start.

Do you earn commission on what you recommend?

Our fee is the package price, and that's what pays for your designer's time. We hold trade accounts with some suppliers, and where those carry a discount we pass it on to you in full rather than keeping the margin. Crucially, none of it influences what goes on your shopping list. Your designer is free to specify anything available to you, including retailers we have no relationship with at all.

How does the shopping list work?

It's interactive rather than a static PDF. Every item shows the actual product with a photo, its current price and a link to buy, grouped by category and by room. As you select the pieces you want, your running total updates, so you can see the effect of every choice before you spend anything. If a sofa takes you over budget, swap it and watch the number come back down.

Do I have to buy the furniture through you?

No. The links take you straight to the retailer and you can buy everything yourself, at your own pace, in whatever order suits your budget. If you'd rather not manage it, our sourcing service handles ordering and tracking, and that's where our trade discounts get passed on to you.

What do you need from me to start?

Accurate measurements of the room, photos from every angle, and any images that capture the style you're drawn to. We'll walk you through all of it on the kick-off call, and we have a room measuring guide to make the measuring part straightforward.

Do you visit my home?

We can. The packages are priced to be delivered online, which keeps them affordable wherever you are in the UK, but a site visit can be booked alongside any of them. Some clients prefer it for awkward layouts, period properties, or simply to have a designer walk the room with them. It's quoted separately depending on your location, and confirmed before anything is agreed.

My room isn't on the room type list. Can you still help?

Yes. The room types cover the spaces we're asked for most, but we design plenty of others. Get in touch and we'll price it for you directly.

Can you design more than one room?

Yes, and many clients do. Each room is priced individually, and your designer runs them so the schemes connect rather than sitting as separate projects. For a whole home, our complete interior design service brings every room together under one vision.

Still deciding? Book a free discovery call and talk it through with a designer first.
