Post-Design Support for Your Home Installation & Ongoing Help
Priced to what's left to do, not a fixed tier
This service continues on from an existing Studio Akiva design project: help with installation, styling and troubleshooting once your design work with us is finished, on-site or remotely by video and phone call. If you haven't worked with us on the design phase yet, our Design service is the place to start, we'll pick up from there once your project is under way. Pricing is by the hour rather than a fixed package, the number of rooms, how many sessions are needed, and whether it's on-site or remote all affect the hours involved.
On-site, or a call away
On-Site
A designer visits in person, checking deliveries, walking the space with your contractor, and catching issues before they become costly.
Remote
A video or phone call when a site visit isn't needed. We can speak with you directly, or answer your builder's or contractor's questions about implementing the design.
Furniture rarely arrives on one day
Deliveries get staggered over weeks depending on stock and lead times, and a room styled piece by piece as things trickle in often looks disjointed until the very last item lands. That gap, between a finished design and a genuinely finished room, is exactly where this service sits.
What continues after the design is signed off
Some things apply either way: continuity with your designer, who already knows the project, problem-solving when something unexpected comes up, and one point of contact so managing the finish doesn't fall entirely on you. The rest depends on how you choose to work with us.
On-Site
- Periodic site visits to check progress and quality
- Delivery checks, so damaged or incomplete items get caught early, not after the contractor's gone
- In-person coordination with your contractors and tradespeople
Remote
- Scheduled video or phone calls to check progress and answer questions
- Answering your contractor's questions about implementing the design directly
- Ongoing advice by phone or video whenever you need it

What people usually ask before booking
Do I need to have used your design service first?
Yes. Post-design support continues on from an existing Studio Akiva design project, so we already understand your space and the plan your designer created. If you haven't worked with us yet, our Design service is the place to start.
Can my builder or contractor speak to you directly?
Yes. A lot of remote support is exactly this, a call where we answer your contractor's questions about implementing the design, so you're not stuck relaying technical details back and forth yourself.
How is post-design support priced?
Support is quoted by the hour rather than a fixed package, based on the number of rooms, how many sessions are needed, and whether it's on-site or remote. Tell us what you need and we'll confirm the hours involved.
Do I need to book a discovery call?
No. Since we've already worked together during the design phase, there's no need for a new discovery call. Just tell us what kind of support you need and your designer, or a member of the team, will follow up directly.
