What we can talk about
We are happy to comment, on the record, on any of the following. We will also tell you when something is outside what we actually know, rather than filling the space.
- Whether a property actually works before someone buys it, and what space planning catches that a viewing does not
- What furnishing a home genuinely costs, broken down by room and by category rather than as a single headline figure
- How trade procurement and supplier discounts work, including where the savings are real and where they are not
- Period and Victorian property constraints, and the compromises they force on a layout
- Short-term rental and holiday-let interiors as a business decision rather than a styling one
- Hospitality and workspace design, where the brief is measured in how the space performs
We do not comment on structural work, because Studio Akiva covers interior design only and structure sits with a client's structural engineer. We also will not supply a trend prediction we do not believe, which is worth knowing if the piece needs one.
