The Room
Makeover Guide
Basic, Premium and Deluxe compared. What is in each package, what each drawing actually settles, and how to work out which one your room needs.
Every deliverable, drawn
rather than described.
The hardest thing to explain in a package list is what a drawing actually does for you. So the guide draws them. The same room appears three times, as a plan, in elevation, and then as a ceiling plan, so you can see exactly what each package adds.
The mood board
Suggested pieces, colours, textures and materials in one view. In all three packages, and the document that decides more than any other.
The floor plans
The same room drawn twice, black and white beside colour, from identical geometry. It is the clearest way to see what separates Basic from Premium.
The elevations
Two walls drawn flat on with their heights dimensioned. Premium and Deluxe. This is what a joiner and a tiler actually work from.
The lighting plan
A reflected ceiling plan with fittings, circuits and switching set out. Deluxe only, and chapter 7 is honest about when you need one.
Worth saying plainly
Chapter 7 argues against our own largest package. Deluxe is not the best of the three, it is the widest one, and for most rooms Premium is the right answer with the difference better spent on the room itself. We would rather sell you the package your room needs and see it finished well.
Still not sure which
one fits your room?
Chapter 10 is four questions and settles it for most people. If your room does not sit neatly in any of them, the introductory call is free, takes fifteen minutes, and is not a sales pitch.
