Your practice.
Our name
behind it.
Win and deliver projects as a Studio Akiva partner designer, with an established international studio, its processes and its back office working for you. No joining fee. You keep your own business.
A partnership,
not a franchise.
Studio Akiva has completed residential projects in the UK, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and the USA. In markets where we have no resident team, we work with a small number of established local designers who represent the studio and deliver its projects.
You win the work
Present yourself to clients as a Studio Akiva partner designer, with our portfolio, awards and reviews behind your pitch.
We pass you work
Enquiries we receive in your market go to our partners there. Work in your market is not offered to designers elsewhere.
We build it with you
Every proposal is built together with the studio, and Studio Akiva handles contracts, invoicing and procurement, so you can concentrate on design.
You stay independent
The agreement is non-exclusive and rolling. You keep your own business, your own clients and your own diary.
What changes when
you partner with Studio Akiva.
Partnering means sharing your fee. This is what you get for it.
| On your own | As a Studio Akiva partner |
|---|---|
| You find every client yourself | Enquiries in your market come to you as well |
| You win clients on your own portfolio | You pitch with 12 Houzz awards and over 100 five-star reviews behind you |
| You write every proposal alone and invoice in your own name | Every proposal is built together with the studio, and Studio Akiva invoices the client as a studio |
| You chase late payers | Clients pay Studio Akiva, and you are paid within 14 days of each payment |
| Furniture margin depends on your own supplier accounts | Bring a supplier you trust and share the profit 50/50, or use our supplier network and earn commission on the total sale |
| Every busy period and every quiet month is yours alone | You are part of a small network, and work you cannot take goes to another partner, not a competitor |
Why Studio Akiva
A track record clients can check
12 consecutive Houzz awards, over 100 five-star reviews, and projects completed in the UK, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and the USA.
Built for international clients
We work with expat and overseas buyers every week, the clients who most need a designer they can trust from a distance.
Small on purpose
Five partners per market, so you are never one of hundreds competing for the same leads.
A fixed share of every
project you deliver.
Partners are paid a share of the design fee on every project they deliver. The full terms are set out at interview and in the written agreement.
| You find the client and deliver the project | You receive the larger share of the design fee. |
| Studio Akiva passes you the client and you deliver | The design fee is shared equally between you and the studio. |
| Your client buys through a supplier you introduce | The profit on those orders is shared equally between you and the studio. |
| Your client buys through our supplier network | You earn a commission on the total value of the sale. |
| When you are paid | Within 14 days of each client payment clearing, instalment by instalment, not at the end of the project. |
Established designers
who hold a high standard.
We keep each market small so every partner gets a fair share of the work and we can support delivery properly.
A portfolio you are proud of
Completed residential or commercial work, presented clearly. We review every portfolio personally.
Licensed to trade locally
A valid trade licence, freelance permit or business registration in your market, so you can invoice Studio Akiva for your share.
Client-first and professional
Reliable communication, honest advice and work that matches the standard our name carries. Partners hold their own professional indemnity cover.

Before you apply.
Is there a fee to join?
No. There is no joining fee and no ongoing charge. Studio Akiva earns its share from the projects you deliver.
Who does the client contract with and pay?
Clients contract with and pay Studio Akiva. You invoice Studio Akiva for your share of each payment once it has been received. Every project runs through our central pipeline, so both sides can see exactly where each one stands.
Can I keep working on my own projects?
Yes. The agreement is non-exclusive. The one condition is that a client who comes to you through Studio Akiva, or who is quoted as a Studio Akiva project, remains a Studio Akiva client, during the agreement and for 12 months after it ends.
How are projects priced?
Every project is priced individually. You and Studio Akiva agree the price together before the proposal goes to the client, so it reflects the scope, the market and the work involved.
How do I describe myself to clients?
As a Studio Akiva partner designer. Partners are independent, not employees or directors of the studio, and do not sign anything on its behalf.
How do I leave the scheme?
The agreement is rolling, with 30 days' notice on either side. Projects already in progress are completed on their original terms. Any serious breach of trust, such as taking client payments directly or moving clients outside the agreement, ends it immediately.
