What happens between now and the call.
Nothing you need to do right now. A confirmation is already on its way to your inbox with the time, and we will ring you on the number you gave when you booked.
Check your inbox
The confirmation email carries the time and a calendar invitation, along with a link to change or cancel it if you need to. If it has not arrived within a few minutes, look in your spam folder before assuming something has gone wrong.
We may ask for a couple of photographs
Not always, and never anything elaborate. A photo or two of the room and a rough idea of what you like gives us somewhere to start, so the call is spent on your project rather than on background.
We ring you
The call is a phone call, and we will ring the number you gave when you booked, so please make sure it is one you will pick up on. Fifteen minutes is usually plenty. We talk through the rooms, what is prompting the project and roughly where the budget sits, and by the end you will know which of our services fits and what it would cost.
This is an introductory conversation rather than a design session. Nobody will suggest a layout or specify furniture on it, because that is the paid work rather than the introduction to it. What you will get is a straight answer about whether we are the right studio for your project, including when the answer is no.
Three things worth five minutes.
None of it is required. But the conversations that go best are usually with people who have had a look at how we work first.
How a project runs
The stages, what we need from you at each one and how long the whole thing takes.
What things cost
Every package is priced on the website, per room, with what you receive listed against it. Have a look before the call and the conversation starts further along.
What clients say
Reviews from homeowners who had to live with the result, on Houzz and on Google.
Use the reschedule link in your confirmation email, which lets you move the call yourself without going through us. If something comes up at short notice, email hello@studioakiva.com and we will sort it out.
